HDLRC welcomes Dr. Brian Marchione, DVM DAVCO to conduct OFA eye exams by appointment only at a private residence in Sylmar, CA.
When: 9am-3pm by appointment only on February 1, 2020

Cost: $25 per dog payable to Dr. Michael Chang plus a $10 per dog administrative fee payable to HDLRC.

Keep your eyes open for more information soon about our upcoming specialty shows and supported entry at the Summerfest Dog Show Cluster in Camarillo, CA [show cluster starts July 4, 2019 and continues throughout the weekend]! The premium for HDLRC’s show should be available in April. Two specialty shows in one day on July 4th with breeder judges, and a supported entry on the following day. An additional two days of all-breed shows at the same location over the holiday weekend. More details to follow! Save the date!

Please join HDLRC at our new show site, California State University, Channel Islands, in Camarillo, CA! The club will hold an independent specialty on Thursday, July 5th, a designated specialty on Friday, July 6th, and supported entries over the weekend of Saturday-Sunday, July 7th and 8th, all in conjunction with the famous Summerfest Dog Show Cluster!
The whole weekend is Hawaiian-themed, so break out your craziest tropical shirts/outfits and those leis!!!

This isn't the most glamorous event during the year, but cleaning out the trailer, and completing inventory, allows the club to get going on all our big fall events! Many hands make light work! Please help us out!
Enjoy California's natural beauty with HDLRC members and our dogs on a hike through Placerita Canyon. HDLRC board member and professor of biology, Dr. Cheryl Swift, will lead this excursion with an emphasis on the natural beauty of native Southern California flora and fauna.
There is very little natural shade so protection from the sun is highly recommended (hat, sunscreen) as well as water for both you and your dog(s). Please bring a lunch for after our walk, if you'd like to join in our post-walk picnic.
HDLRC will once again offer eye exams by ACVO diplomate, Dr. Michael Chang. For those needing their annual eye clearance, now's the time! We will also offer microchipping, select vaccinations, and nail clipping or your dogs. All services by appointment only.
